Day in Chanti - Nature and winetasting! 8 hours
Day in Chanti - Nature and winetasting! 8 hours

Ciao people, get ready to have an unforgettable day in Tuscany!

Tuscany provides unforgettable experiences, from through bucolic landscapes to unique aromas, abbeys, medieval villages, cities and castles, typical, authentic cuisine and world-famous wine.

In the heart of Tuscany lies the Chianti region, an area located between Florence and Siena. This wide strip of land is dedicated to agriculture, mainly the production of oil, wine and many different kinds of artisanal craftsmanship.

This itinerary offers you a full day to delight in the stunning scenery of this land. You’ll find yourself in the heart of Tuscan vineyards where our farmer will welcome you and explain the importance of the region’s wine and the entire winemaking process, visiting the different phases of the grape’s cycle from cultivation to the fermentation room and wooden barrels storing wine inside cells. At the end of this brief course, you’ll want to try this delicious wine, no doubt! Of course, a wine tasting will accompany your tasting of typical Tuscan appetizers… yum! We will stop by a medieval abbey,  we also will stop by a picturesque square in a small city of Chianti to admire the Tuscan artisanal craftmanship, stop to eat in a traditional restaurant and finish the day in a medieval castell, today a beautiful winery, and of course, doing another winetasting!

You will also know how locals produce precious Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, also known as “green gold.” All the products can be purchased directly from the farm.

Not to miss will be a stroll through the ancient villages of Tuscany to see the original architecture preserved by the many generations that once lived here, buildings dating to centuries ago. Walking in the streets you’ll feel the atmosphere of Tuscany’s age-old medieval life.

In Chianti there are several options for an enchanting stay, as the list of attractions is endless and can be catered specifically to your interests. Among the many options you can also visit artisanal cheese factories, terracotta pottery manufacturers, monasteries, abbeys or take mini-classes to try Tuscan cuisine, where you can help make the delicacies yourself!

Generally, the tour takes off from Florence but we can manager to get start from another city or hotel of Tuscany.

The tour can be for an individual visitor or group.

Ciao people!

Did you know that the world’s first museum was born in Florence? Or that Florence holds 40% of Italy’s artistic heritage in its museums and streets?

Florence itself is an open-air museum: in the streets you can admire many ancient works of art, yet the majority of the city’s original pieces are found inside the museums, reason why the city houses such a rich museum network. The museums in Florence are designed in such a way to display artworks in a clear and engaging manner, where visitors can experience more intimate contact with the work and observe pictorial details or an artist’s sculptural techniques up close.

This itinerary is catered to those who want to get to know Florence through the city and its museums.

The tour engages closely with the art of great Florentine artists that once called this city home – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Botticelli – and is a chance to hear the fascinating stories behind their incredible works of art.

The tour is divided into two sections with the luch break: Tour in the historic center of Florence, stopping by the most important points such as the cathedral, known as the Duomo, and a visit to museum of your choice. Given the numerous options, the visit to the museum can be tailored according to your specific interests. (See the museums in here).

The most visited museums in Florence and I large suggest you are the Accademia (Accademy of fine Arts of Florence - where you’ll find the David and others work of art by Michelangelo), the Uffizi Gallery (Museum dedicated to the Renaissance paints, housing work of arts by Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo and many others) and the Santa Croce Basilica (where you can visit the tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and many others).

Since Florence was home to many illustrious artists and characters of the past, the city holds an exclusive original collection of the works produced by these incredible historic figures. Their lasting legacy is diffused throughout the city in its museums, churches and palaces, and is not to be missed!

The tour can be for a individual visitor or group.
